This Saturday Lushbones had the pleasure of visiting the Hollywood Cemetery for their 8th annual Dia De Los Muertos festival. This free event is a Mexican tradition that is about celebrating the life of those who have passed in a vibrant, joyful festival. For some the event is spiritual, for some there are just here to check out the art and look at the people dressed as skeletons.

Artists, Musicians and Food & Drink venders came to sell there wares. Here Noah is seen getting his face painted by a lovely Ghoul. Ever have a margarita prepared for you in a grave yard?

The lush landscaping and beautiful stonework of this 108 year old cemetery is enough to warrant a visit outside of the Halloween season.

Handmade alters illuminated the tombstones with bright orange marigolds, candles, and treasured photos.Hollywood Cemetery is burial ground for punk legend, Johnny Ramone.
